Day 6 - Västerås
Vs 19 - Tillinge
Jul 11, 2021
Tillinge, Västmanland, Sweden
The runestone Vs 19 is carved by the same runemaster who carved Vs 18 next to it.
The name Gunnald is a combination of the words for war and ruler. The name “Orm” just means snake.
Gunnald is mentioned on the runestone Vs 18, about a trip to England in the west, standing nearby. Both stones were moved here in the beginning of 1920s.
